Before moving to the QLD Sunshine Coast in 2017 Kerrie worked for many years on the NSW Central Coast/Newcastle/Sydney area bringing a classy mix of great well-known songs (plus original tunes) ranging from beautiful ballads and laid back background music through to sing along and toe tapping dance music in a contemporary, easy listening acoustic style -folk/pop/jazz/indie/blues baked with an Americana feel and sprinkled with 'smooth'. She has worked in bands and duos and is currently, performing solo around the Sunshine Coast, as well as interstate at various music festivals and other events.
Previously, she was the founding member and fronted popular girl band 'The Housework Can Wait, working regularly on the Central Coast for over 5 years at pubs/clubs and corporate & private functions and in November 2009 she released her fully produced debut solo album ‘Starting Over’ of original music.
Kerrie is an award winning songwriter and is continuously recording new original songs and enjoying radio play.
Kerrie is Sunshine Coast Regional Coordinator for Australian Songwriters Association and, under that umbrella, runs and monthly songwriters events "Wax Lyrical" featuring local original songwriters in Caloundra, QLD.
